AI Might Flatten Organizations... It Definitely Will Expose Weak Ones.

There’s a popular narrative right now that AI will massively flatten organizations.
Fewer managers
Smaller teams
More automation
Some of that is already true.
But I think the much bigger effect will be different:
AI is going to expose organizational weaknesses much faster.

Weak prioritization? You’ll now execute bad ideas faster.
Poor alignment between Sales, Product, and Engineering? AI increases the volume of output — and therefore the cost of confusion.
Unclear ownership? Now multiple people can independently generate competing solutions at high speed.
The companies that benefit most from AI won’t necessarily be the most technical.
They’ll be the most aligned.
Because once execution accelerates from AI, organizational clarity becomes a multiplier:
Strategy clarity
Decision ownership
Product vision
Customer understanding
Without those things, speed creates chaos instead of advantage.
